Arcata Marsh

We went to the cute hippie town of Arcata for some food, and checked out the marsh while we were there.

The marsh itself was not exceptionally pretty.

But this muddy environment was filled with beautiful wildflowers.

Azaleas abounded.

Lupin filled the area with their beautiful purple color.

A silly name for a pond.

A flying Great Egret.

A proud California Quail.
