Trillium Falls Trail

June 25, 2010

The Trillium Falls Trail promised lovely trees and a pretty falls.

Redwood trees are so rich in nutrients that sometimes other plants grow out of them. Here is a fern growing out of a redwood tree.

Here is one tree growing from the roots of another, rather than from the ground.

Here is the falls itself.

See the frog hiding under the leaves?

Another lovely specimen of banana slug.

The nearby Lost Man Creek.

On to the Klamath River Overlook.
