Sequoia National Park -- Really Big Logs

Although they are resistant to fire and most pests, Giant Sequoias do topple over every once in awhile. We briefly visited some fallen trees along the road.

But first, here’s a picture of Eric hugging a standing tree.


This is called Auto Log, because they used to let you drive your car on top of it.
