We had relatives in south Florida whom we wanted to visit, and we decided, while we were there, that we would visit the three US national parks that were in proximity. I had planned this trip for November of 2017, but postponed it until March because the Everglades were closed following the devastation the area suffered during Hurricane Irma. We visited three national parks, one national monument, four state parks, and one county park. The beaches were beautiful, the wildlife spectacular.
